The battery works fine, but is only worthwhile if you play 36 holes or more in a single day.
My u-Pro Go has about a 1/2 charge left after 18 holes. It helps to use the u-Pro only as necessary, and without Go mode.

tried and other golfers tried but it never gave the correct yardage to the pin, then while getting a soda someone stole it out of my golf cart so i can`t return, bummer all around.

Has an awful line in it, (meant to be lined up with a golf flag) which makes it almost entirely unusable for anything but golf. Total waste of money as far as I am concerned.

This is an updated version of the old school golf scope. It is easier to use but still will not give you the pinpoint accuracy of a laser range finder. It's very much like the built-in range finder in high end scopes. I like it, but I only use it to estimate the distance for my shots.
